I am 1/2 Kenyan and 1/2 Tanzanian, which saves me from being ALL American. I've lived in Amsterdam for 20 years. I've worked in the corporate world as well as in the arts. I've traveled, worked or lived in 6 out of 7 continents. The array of my varied life experiences has given me the ability to step into any character or role and PERFORM. Feet Froids: One grown ass black woman's attempt to run as far away from herself as possible. In the summer of 2017, I was midlife crisis-ing hard; disillusioned and disheartened about how my life turned out. I needed to escape my reality. I got a bright idea: a friend was getting married in Avignon. I'll walk from Marseille to Avignon, on my own, à la camping sauvage (wild camping). Feet Froids is a recounting of the events with a side of therapeutic analysis.
